[The 5th 'ANEX 2012'Il-san KINTEX] Bright future on cutting-edge nonwoven industry as 'catalyst'

The opening ceremony of the 5th ANEX 2012 was held attending 238 companies from 24 countries in the world. 14 members including Roh Hee-chan(chairman of Committee of Textile Industries), Kim Jae-Hong(head of a department at Ministry of Knowledge Economy), Ku Pyung-Kil(Chairman of KNIC), Yanxi Wang(chairman of ANFA and CNTA) were attended. Worldwide leading companies from Asia, Europe, Northern America regions showed raw materials for nonwovens, machinery and auxiliary equipment for nonwovens production/accessories on 13,000㎡ scale in the 2nd exhibition hall of KINTEX.

Recently world's economy and financial market is unstable, and even China? economy has slowed down while oil prices and exchange rate are instable. Besides several big changes have been noticed in advance.

ANFA(Asia Nonwovens Federal Association) hosts ANEX exhibition to make a breakthrough providing inter-companies networks and ground of business in order to progress Asian nonwovens industry. ANEX, one of world? 3 major nonwovens exhibitions, will be open by three years including northern Amerian INDA and european INDEX.

Korea is an international production district of synthetic fibers and textiles as well as base of supplying fabric export country. Through active R&D by professional institutes and development of various usage of nonwoven, Korea nonwoven industry is steadily growing. Futhermore, the conclusion of Korea·EU FTA and Korea·U.S. FTA results in attracting worldwide attention in textile industry.

Under the bases of strong support by INDA and EDANA, national booth of Japan ,China and Twain were set up and worldwide leading nonwoven companies early confirmed their participation in ANEX 2012 for reserving better seats.

Worldwide major companies, including Toray Advanced Materials Inc., Hyosung, Huvis, Korea vilene, Baiksan Lintex, Samhwa machinery and Welcron will attend. ANEX event that is composed of about over 80% overseas companies among whole participants, takes pride in hub of nonwoven business in Korea, Asia and in the world. In that duration of event Global Nonwoven Summit(GNS) and ANFA General Meeting are scheduled for ANEX 2012. Under the theme of 'Population and Nonwovens' it will provide earnest debates and deal with newest technology, which will capture world? flow in nonwoven industry in one glance. ANEX which is held in Korea, looks forward to strengthen exchange and cooperation in Asian nonwoven industry and suggest new vision in its development.
